Who We Are
Breaking The Cycle of Poverty
Empowering underprivileged communities with Christ-centered sustainable development, Good Steward International equips churches and professionals to alleviate chronic poverty through Biblical teachings and practical resources.
Good Steward International is a USA based organization which seeks to diminish chronic poverty through Biblical teaching content and development resources. These materials are especially developed for churches and development professionals serving the underprivileged citizens of developing countries. Our purpose is to equip those who desire to implement Biblical sustainable development to help alleviate poverty, with a focus of following Jesus Christ in daily living. These groups include professionals, non-government organizations, churches, pastors, and others.
With Good Steward International teaching resources, struggling communities are able to identify local resources and solutions for long-term economic stability. They are also able to incorporate effective economic and small business principles. Instead of providing temporary relief, our vision is that through Christ-centered sustainable development, communities would be able to provide long-term solutions to bless struggling families.
Does it Feel Like You're Missing Something?
A lot of energy is being expended. Good people are going out, and reports are coming back of people choosing to follow Jesus! But there are also those questions:
“Why can’t the indigenous people who have decided to follow Jesus and make better choices in their personal lives?”
“Why aren’t the people able to better provide for their families?”
“Shouldn’t we be providing some Biblical financial teaching?”
“Even if we wanted to teach financial sustainability, where would we find the teaching material?”
A Proven Curriculum for Your Ministry!
Good Steward International is a Bible-based, easily understood financial teaching course. It is designed to connect with those living in ongoing poverty, and is intended to help them develop a sustainable mindset and better provide for their families. Our curriculum has been used in many countries, has a proven track record, and has proven effective in changing how people view the resources God has placed in their care.
GSI walks with missions, providing everything they need to start a Biblical financial teaching program, designed to help them successfully operate a small business. We provide the curriculum, the experience, and the ongoing support required to help people rise out of poverty and be productive citizens in their communities. And beyond financial teaching, our curriculum focuses on the basic teachings of the Gospel, showing what it looks like to follow Jesus in daily life.
